There are total 2 different types of deployment buckles for the New Cartier Santos 2021 quickswitch leather watch strap

Type 1 – The newest single-folded deployment buckle (after 2020 2021)

Type 2 – Cartier Santos Old style double-folded deployment buckle

The QuickSwitch feature allows for easy interchangeability of the watch bands or straps without the need for tools, making it convenient for the wearer to switch between different styles quickly. These watches come with interchangeable straps in different materials and colors, including leather, rubber, and metal.

Type 1 – The newest interchangeable folding buckle (after 2020 2021)

The new one has a spring bar on one end and the other end loops through and goes through a hole in the strap. It’s also a side release instead of the previous pull-up. The quick release spring bar included on the strap buckle end.

The new Cartier Santos 2021 interchangeable folding buckle requires a different leather watch strap. One side is shorter, normally about 90mm / 120mm with holes on the longer side. Type 2 – Cartier Santos Old style double-folded deployment buckle

Here’s the old version where both strap ends slid in and doubled over. No holes in the strap and no spring bar. It has an open “C” visible. also called double-folded deployment clasp.  The same length for both sides, normally 115/115mm (OEM leather watch band leather color, stitching color, length all can be personalized)

• Cartier Santos Large 40mm watch band lug width is 21mm
• Cartier Santos Large 35mm watch band lug width is 18.5mm

• 19mm lug size for the Cartier Santos Medium 35mm watch quickswitch system (Aftermarket straps available from DRWATCHSTRAP)
• 21mm lug size for the Cartier Santos Large 40mm watch quickswitch system (Aftermarket straps available from DRWATCHSTRAP)
• 23mm lug size for the Cartier Santos Chronograph XL watch  (this size is NOT available for aftermarket straps)
